About MeI have been practicing yoga since 1978, while working as a librarian and a mom. After retiring, I expanded my yoga training, studying with Richard Rosen, Baxter Bell and Ann Dyer. In 2010 I graduated from the Piedmont Yoga Studio Advanced Training Program, and have been teaching private and public asana lessons since then. I am particularly interested in chanting and yoga for healthy aging. I am a life-long athlete and long-time Masters swimmer.
Yoga practice benefits people with a wide range of challenges. In 2011-2012 I assisted the PD Active yoga program taught by Vickie Russell Bell working with people with Parkinson's Disease. Inspired by family and friends with Parkinson's, Suzanne Drolet and I have taught Yoga for People with Parkinson's at Adeline Yoga Studio since 2014. In 2015 I started working more with Yoga for Healthy Aging and graduated from the intensive program taught by Dr. Baxter Bell and Nina Zolotow. You can find me at Adeline Yoga or teaching private lessons throughout the East Bay. |
